Overview

Guild of Guardians are seeking a Community Manager who will be responsible for owning and executing the entire community mobilisation and growth strategy. We currently have a community of 200k + engaged people, who are excited for the launch of a game that allows them to turn their passion for gaming into assets. It is time for the right person to come in and quickly own and scale this number up – as we push towards the goal of completely disrupting the gaming industry.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Help develop, implement and ultimately manage our Community management and growth strategies
  • Executing on those agreed strategies, and using tools as appropriate such as Discord Bots, Medium, Discord, and other bespoke tools
  • Responding to DMs, user queries, and interacting with community members, to become the ‘face’ of the project
  • Ideating, conceptualizing, and executing on bespoke ideas, activities, and activations that incentivise, grow, and genuinely engage our community members
  • Run our GOG ambassador program and all subsequent activities, including all communication with the team.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our Discord and community strategy and grow the team, with opportunities to lead all community managers, moderators, admin  and growth for a $100m+ game

We would love you to:

  • Live, breathe and sleep on Discord. Have a track record of community management/moderation (especially in big groups/projects).
  • Be crypto native, and require little to no upskilling on that front. Will be able to jump in on day one and be more knowledgeable than the majority of the community.
  • Be a self-starter, problem solver, and creative wizard, who has all the answers when it comes to coming up with new and innovative ideas to grow and engage a massive community
  • Have exceptional PR skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to manage and scale the GOG ambassador program
  • Exude positivity, joy, and be a pleasure to interact with.
