Overview

BitPay is looking for an Account Resolution Specialist. In this role, you will deliver excellent, dedicated support to our growing cardholder customer base. You’ll be a part of daily standups and constant collaboration. Everyone has easy access to any member of the team, including the executives. You’ll need to be a self-starter and a team player!

Responsibilities: 

  • Solves card support tickets meeting or exceeding the established quota. Quota is a volume-based calculation and work is divided across the team based on company role and current project priorities.
  • Provides cardholders and card applicants with prompt, courteous, and accurate service in all areas of their bitcoin and prepaid card needs.
  • Performs a variety of daily operational functions in support of the prepaid card program as well as general company support.
  • Analyzes trends in cardholder support inquiries and works with the development team to implement root cause solutions.
  • Works with card partners and vendors to manage card program inventory and establish and improve processes.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years experience within banking, start up, consulting, fintech or financial services industry
  • Ability to work well in an international environment
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self­-starter mentality, results oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to respond and adapt well in fast-­moving and uncertain situations
  • Available to commit full time flexible hours, rotational weekend commitment (<4 weekend days/year)
  • Degree in Information Systems or Business-related field or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills

  • Passionate about customer service
  • Experience in a Help Desk or customer service-oriented field (SaaS company preferred)
  • Familiarity with IT tools and programming languages (command line, JavaScript, DB query languages)
  • 2+ years technical experience in the software industry
  • Knowledge of and interest in bitcoin
