Cointelegraph is looking for an experienced sales professional from the blockchain industry to join as Business Development Manager to lead the direct sales processes. Candidate from outside the Crypto and Blockchain space are also strongly encouraged to apply.

We are interested in people with strong sales experience in the media and advertising industry. Our ideal candidate shall demonstrate success in closing deals with institutional clients. Talents involved in sales/business development/marketing product owner roles in the fintech/blockchain area will also be considered.

Main responsibilities:

  • Handling responsibility for generating leads, conducting direct sales, and hitting/ exceeding sales targets;
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status;
  • Providing feedback to team on market trends, unmet needs, and opportunities to help the company strategize its offerings and go-to-market strategy;
  • Accurate forecasting and maintaining an up to date pipeline at all times

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields with minimum 2 years of sales experience
  • Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the media & advertising industry
  • Good English oral and written communication abilities, with positive and energetic phone/video conference skills and exquisite listening skills to serve client all over the world
  • Possess strong sales management experience and excellent understanding of the sales cycle to ensure full control in opportunities and accurate forecasting
  • Ability to identify, qualify, and set the sales strategy for client opportunities and design marketing package for clients
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the changing market, the clients and the business
  • Highly self-motivated, energetic individual who builds strong relationships quickly
  • High ethical standards and customer focus
  • Strong interests in blockchain, prior network and experience in the blockchain industry would be a plus
