Overview

The Client Development Associate (Asia) acts as the main point of contact for certain top-tier clients, with a focus on Korean speaking clients, and is also responsible for assisting with related communications, including article publications, announcements and social media monitoring.

He/She will not be based in Korea.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client requests via email, various social media and instant messaging platforms.
  • Provide monthly reports on market insights, client insights and competitor activity in the greater Asian and Korean regions.
  • Identify new exchange features and/or services.
  • Develop and maintain strong industry relationships, including with other digital asset exchanges, top-tier clients, high value affiliates and key opinion leaders.
  • Identify and help onboard new top-tier clients to the platform.
  • Identify, develop and manage partnerships leading to new pools of potential clients in Asia and Korea.
  • Monitor social media activities and any fast-growing competitors in Asia and Korea.

Skills, Traits & Competencies:

  • Must be extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the cryptocurrency market.
  • Proficiency in Korean is essential as you will act as the main point of contact for certain top-tier clients, with a focus on Korean speaking clients
  • Entrepreneurial, autonomous and resourceful.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to use Excel and understand statistics.
  • Comfortable with / enjoys trading.
  • Ability to produce charts, tables, presentations and reports.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective networker.
  • A solid team player, able to work effectively with other teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
  • University Degree.
  • 5+ years within a client facing role in the financial markets.
  • 2+ years within the cryptocurrency market.
