Project Manager for Oasis Protocol Foundation (Community and Marketing)

Oasis Protocol Foundation is seeking a Project Manager to support our Community and Marketing teams with the implementation of new processes to improve team productivity and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and maintain the task lists for the Community and Marketing teams.
  • Suggest and implement project management tools to improve task coordination and lead the effort to put processes in place to improve team productivity.
  • Provide regular reports on project progress and milestones to the team leads and upper management.
  • Take notes during meetings and provide meeting recaps in emails to ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Set up and organize meetings for the Community and Marketing teams.
  • Sync up with leads of other teams to schedule syncs and discussions when needed.
  • Handle external communication with partners and service providers.

Key Person Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a project manager or similar role in a technology or blockchain company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with teams across different departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience in implementing project management tools and processes to improve team productivity.

Interview Process:

  • Initial screening call with Recruitment team to discuss qualifications and experience.
  • Technical interview with the Director of Operations to discuss project management tools and processes.
  • Cross-team collaboration interview with BD and Engineering / Community and Marketing team representatives
  • Final interview with the team leads and upper management to assess fit and discuss specific responsibilities and expectations.

  1. Engaging with the community: The community team is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the Oasis Protocol community, which includes developers, users, and other stakeholders.
  2. Creating and managing community channels: The team creates and manages channels like social media, forums, and chat groups where community members can interact with one another and receive updates from the team.
  3. Providing support: The community team may also provide technical support to community members who are building on the platform or using its features.
  4. Gathering feedback: The team gathers feedback from the community to identify pain points and opportunities to improve the platform.

Marketing team:

  1. Promoting the platform: The marketing team is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to promote the Oasis Protocol platform and its features.
  2. Creating marketing content: The team creates marketing content such as blog posts, whitepapers, videos, and social media posts to educate potential users about the platform.
  3. Building partnerships: The team may work on building partnerships with other projects, businesses, or influencers in the blockchain space to expand the platform’s reach.
  4. Supporting events: The marketing team may also support events such as conferences, meetups, and hackathons to promote the platform and engage with the community.
