The Solana Foundation is dedicated to the adoption, decentralization, and security of the Solana network. Our mission is to help support and grow the Solana network and its community while driving mass adoption for blockchain. The Solana Foundation is working to realize a world where individuals own their data, use permissionless networks, and transfer information freely around the world.

What we do:

The business development team supports each of these three pillars, with an emphasis on adoption. Our work primarily focuses on three categories:

  • Why teams should build on Solana
  • How teams can most effectively build on Solana and
  • Supporting the continued success of teams in the ecosystem.

We wear many hats: a successful BD team member often flexes the skillsets of technical sales, solutions engineering, go-to-market strategy, product management, and relationship management.

To be successful in this role

You will:

  • Develop and execute a plan for proactive investor outreach for top current and target investors in APAC region
  • Help manage and grow investor relationships to encourage further Solana engagement
  • Help develop the key messages for communication to existing and potential investors
  • Travel frequently and perform direct in-person meetings with investors
  • Strengthen exchange partnerships in APAC and develop community outreach plans on behalf of Solana and ecosystem projects.
  • Work closely with Global BD, Product, Marketing teams to strengthen awareness and adoption of Solana in the APAC region


  • 8+ years of experience in leading exchanges or traditional VC’s or investor relations capacity
  • Native mandarin speaker
  • Existing relationships with APAC investment firms, both web3 and traditional, and the ability to lead and manage these relationship (i.e., keep them closely informed of what is going on with the Solana ecosystem)
  • Understanding of Solana and its ecosystem
  • Interest in cultivating and maintaining a growing ecosystem of builders, community members, and capital allocators
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to operate in multi-stakeholder and ambiguous environments
  • Outstanding communication skills

Bonus points for:

  • Additional language capabilities (e.g. Korean, Japanese, SEA-based languages)
  • Existing relationships with leading investor groups in APAC
  • Previous experience working in or with the Solana ecosystem
  • Strong presence on crypto communities, social media (Twitter..etc), and/or you maintain a crypto focused blog
