Overview

DFINITY is reimagining the Internet as a public network that hosts secure software and services. The Internet Computer is a new technology stack that is unhackable, fast, scales to billions of users around the world, and supports a new kind of autonomous software that promises to reverse Big Tech’s monopolization of the internet. DFINITY was founded in 2016 by Dominic Williams and is backed by top-tier institutions including Polychain Capital and Andreessen Horowitz.

In the role of Director of Business & Institutional Partnerships, you will use your business savvy to drive large-scale partnership to scale the Internet Computer. You will be responsible for creating and executing a strategy to drive institutional adoption on a global scale in one of the most cutting-edge spaces – a decentralized platform designed to host the next generation of software and services.  Working hand in hand with our product, growth, and marketing teams, you will help define a go-to-market strategy to increase adoption of the platform by identifying potential partnerships, market segments and creating scalable mechanisms to increase adoption and drive growth. You have a stellar record of starting and scaling high performing teams to successfully deliver products to market.  Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will allow you to build enablement tools, evangelize our platform across enterprises, early-stage start-ups and valued partners.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.
