Polygon Labs develops Ethereum scaling solutions for Polygon protocols. Polygon Labs engages with other ecosystem developers to help make available scalable, affordable, secure and sustainable blockchain infrastructure for Web3. Polygon Labs has initially developed a growing suite of protocols for developers to gain easy access to major scaling solutions, including layer 2s (zero-knowledge rollups and optimistic rollups), sidechains, hybrid chains, app-specific chains, enterprise chains, and data availability protocols. Scaling solutions that Polygon Labs initially developed have seen widespread adoption with tens of thousands of decentralized apps, unique addresses exceeding 225 million, over 1.2 million smart contracts created and 2.56 billion total transactions processed since inception. The existing Polygon network is home for some of the biggest Web3 projects, such as Aave, Uniswap, and OpenSea, and well-known enterprises, including Robinhood, Stripe and Adobe. Polygon Labs is carbon neutral with the goal of leading Web3 in becoming carbon negative.

As an Executive Assistant you’ll be supporting an Cofounder/Executive of Polygon Labs. This is an ideal position for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter, and wants to work on a dynamic and mission-driven team. This role will require strong calendaring and prioritization skills, uncompromising attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Support a lead Cofounder/Executive of Polygon Labs
  • Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks (manage calendars, book travel, schedule facilities, assist with events/engagements).
  • Schedule and attend meetings – taking clear notes and tracking action items when needed
  • Highly reliable in a work from home culture• Schedule flights, travel, and necessary accommodations
  • Manage and submit expense reports
  • Operate cross-functionally
  • Mentor/train junior admins

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct executive support
  • Ability to consistently contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
  • Ability to adhere to an expectation of complete confidentiality on all business matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and build excellent, productive relationships.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities and projects with strong follow through
  • Experience with Notion and G-Suite
  • Previous experience working in a start-up environment, tech or Web3/crypto a plus
