The Opportunity
Solana Foundation is seeking a highly driven LATAM Growth Lead to drive regional ecosystem expansion across verticals, with a focus on payments, fintech and institutional finance. This is a unique opportunity to drive strategy and growth for the entire region and accelerate Solana adoption across verticals
You will:
- Drive strategic relationships with founders, investors, institutions, and regulators across the LATAM region
- Support the payments growth vertical lead in regional expansion and market entry
- Develop and execute regional growth initiatives and events
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and industry groups
- Oversee regional grant programs and ecosystem funding
- Coordinate with global teams on cross-regional opportunities
To be successful in this role
You ideally have:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services or fintech, with at least one prior full time role in the blockchain industry
- Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape and experience working with crypto exchanges, custodians, and payments companies.
- Strong relationships with regional financial institutions, crypto exchanges and regulators
- Ability to be hands-on and work with a startup mentality
Bonus points:
- Prior experience in Solana ecosystem and technical understanding of blockchain infrastructure
Location
- Sao Paolo or Mexico City preferred with frequent travel across the LATAM region
