About ALEX

ALEX is the leading DeFi platform on Bitcoin. Launched in January 2022 on the Stacks network with an AMM DEX and other core functionalities, ALEX quickly became the top DEX on Bitcoin,
surpassing $2.1B in total transaction volume. The introduction of ALEX V2 in the 4Q of 2024 will
mark a shift from a stand-alone DeFi protocol to a comprehensive Bitcoin Snance layer, seamlessly integrating Bitcoin L1 assets with L2 capabilities.

Our founders built multi-billion dollar quant businesses at top wall street banks, so we lived the
ineUciencies of the traditional Snance world.

Together with a team of 15 strong experts in Snancial engineering and crypto development, ALEX will disrupt the the traditional Snance and be the roads and highways of an exciting new world that is DeFi.

Job Responsibilities

As a Head of Growth at ALEX, you will work directly with our founders and take full ownership of our presence and customer acquisition programs. You will:

  • Oversee all content that is put out by the brand.

  • Ensure consistency across all brand-related touchpoints.

  • Solidify our brand identity, and become the gatekeeper of our brand.

  • Liaise with immediate team and wider company pillars to ensure collaboration and

  • understanding across the business.

  • Find new partnerships, both large and small, with a focus on growing the customer base.

  • Create and execute high-growth marketing campaigns.

  • Create and maintain the marketing plan, ensuring continual improvement using hard data.

Example Work in this Role

Create and own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new products & features. You will set
clear objectives and goals, research and deSne target audiences, develop marketing and
communication strategies, and measure adoption. You will also conduct customer research and
apply your insights to these and other initiatives.

Drive the evolution of our brand positioning. You will bring the brand to life in a clear and
consistent way that resonates with and motivates our target audiences. You will promote the
company as an innovator to the press and public and oversee outbound customer-facing
communications across our website, blog, and social channels.

Collaborate and lead across the organization. You will represent the voice of the customer
within the organization, bringing your insights to cross-functional stakeholders across product,
engineering, and leadership.

Deepen relationships with key partners. You will nurture existing relationships with key
partners, aligning on mutual goals and driving adoption through a variety of co-marketing
efforts.

Build a marketing department. Identify talent needs, hire and manage a high-performing
integrated marketing team.

Job Requirements

Our ideal Head of Growth will have:

  • Deep experience and understanding of, and contacts in the crypto/DeFi communities.

  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing go-to-market plans for SaaS platforms,
    including targeted paid advertising, online and ogine events, and content marketing (white
    papers, case studies, and blogging etc.).

  • You are a conscientious, organized and self-motivated with the ability to deSne goals and
    prioritize your work

  • Strong analytical and writing skills. You are comfortable with data and analytics, and you can
    clearly communicate your results and ideas.
