Position Overview:

As Head of Human Resources you will lead a variety of HR topics for a globally distributed team. You will support the human factor in a fast growing organization by being responsible for all personnel matters such as compensation and benefits, hiring and onboarding new team members and overseeing strategies for performance evaluations, staffing, training and development.

Duties

  • Develop and implement the HR strategy and initiatives aligned with the overall Foundation strategy.
  • Supervise and support HR personnel, provide guidance but also be hands-on yourself.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with Cardano Foundation staff to ensure all HR enquiries, demands, grievances etc. are being handled.
  • Report to senior management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Initiate and supervise the implementation and advancement of human resource processes, policies and projects.
  • Manage and oversee monthly payroll; ensure for a flawless audit-proof processing of wage, social security and expense processes.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process; effectively structure benefits programs to attract and retain top talents.
  • Initiate, oversee and update human resource software systems.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Assess training needs and monitor training development programs.

  • Fluent in German and English.

Education and Experience

  • BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus.
  • Previous experience as a HR Manager or HR Director preferably within a Technology company who is used to geographically dispersed teams and understands the needs of technology driven people and the newer generations.
