Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Compliance Manager to join the BlockFi Product Compliance team. In this role, you will review and approve all marketing materials and communications prior to public distribution. You will verify the contents’ accuracy, transparency, and compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements, including but not limited to consumer protection laws and BlockFi internal policies and standards. You will be expected to remain up to speed with an evolving regulatory environment, and to quickly gain an understanding of the growing product suite. You will work closely with the Marketing, Business Development, Product and Legal teams, among others.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reviewing marketing materials including but not limited to press releases, client email communications, presentations, web-based advertisements, social media content, promotions and giveaways, podcasts, and interviews
  • Staying informed of regulatory requirements in the lending, cryptocurrency, and money transmission spaces
  • Assisting with creating new processes or process improvements as needed, supporting and enforcing compliance guidelines for use by product and marketing teams when developing new offerings or marketing materials
  • Assisting with other compliance initiatives related to monitoring and regulatory reporting/examinations as needed
  • Acting as ambassador for the team in order to help promote the culture of compliance

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in Marketing Compliance is required
  • Experience in Regulatory Compliance preferred
  • Ability to manage projects and processes, and the ability to multitask
  • Experience with document management related tools is preferred (e.g., SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence etc.)
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter, fast moving, and flexible
  • Experience with banking regulatory requirements that apply to advertising and marketing  (e.g. Regulation Z, UDAAP) is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to complete time-sensitive projects
  • Advanced analytical abilities
