Marketing at Wintermute

This role will focus on product marketing for customer-facing products such as OTC products, Wintermute portal NODE, and liquidity provision for blockchain projects. It will also include general awareness and recruitment marketing, as well as supporting venture investment and incubator businesses.  We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and organized self-starter to create and execute marketing activities, drive engagement, build relationships across our channels, and leverage the strong reputation Wintermute has in the industry. We’re on the lookout for someone with diverse experience in marketing and a hands-on attitude who can learn or do whatever is required to reach the goals. Passion and familiarity with crypto is a very significant advantage.

Responsibilities

    • Execution of the marketing plan: own the execution of marketing activities, including hands-on execution, coordinating communications and operational teams, and working with internal and external teams (e.g. designers, suppliers, agencies, etc)
    • Branding: support ongoing rebrand project and expand the branding to new activities
    • Content marketing: drive the creation of thought leadership and content marketing pieces centered around education and providing value to counterparties and partners 
    • External visibility: drive increasing Wintermute visibility through top-tier media,  conferences, speaking arrangements, and targeted events in coordination with an Event Manager
    • Reporting & analytics: build a fact-base to monitor and report results of all activities

Hard Skills Requirements

    • At least 3-5 years experience in a high-performance product, product marketing, social media marketing, or related operations function, e.g., crypto or other VC-backed startup, fintech company, B2B SaaS, dynamic financial services company, consulting; we also welcome management consultants and similar high-performing generalist candidates
    • Track record of creating a tangible impact on key metrics, and be ready to give examples
    • Experience of independently delivering ready customer-facing deliverables, such as content pieces, campaigns etc; being able to do content/copy without content writers or agencies
    • Experience with B2B marketing in high-value deal/ACV environment is strongly preferred; experience with finance, fintech or crypto is a significant advantage but not a requirement
    • Experience with at least several functional areas listed above and familiarity/general understanding of others; ability to learn new functional areas quickly and independently
    • Ability and interest to learn about crypto, financial products, and technologies quickly and independently
