How We Work

We are a distributed team across the globe. Our headquarters is in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we have hubs in Berlin, Toronto, and New York City. We leverage agile methodologies to move quickly and stay focused. Communication is important to us and we rely heavily on Slack, Zoom, and GitHub to help us stay in sync. Everything we build is open source and available on GitHub.

This is a full time position and is located in Berkeley/San Francisco, CA.

What we’re looking for: 

  • 2+ years of professional experience in an administrative role, preferably with startup experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A generalist and self starter who can pick up what needs to be done, without much guidance
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to focus
  • Ability to adapt to changing project guidelines and priorities
  • Well organized and resourceful
  • Familiar with Google Suite & Slack
  • Strong interest in blockchain

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee general office administration, information requests, managing vendor relationships, ordering supplies, and overseeing the office space.
  • Support the executive team with EA responsibilities such as meeting scheduling, managing calendars and events, and information preparation.
  • Support HR with interview scheduling and basic onboarding.
  • Support Operations and Community Managers with planning travel, conferences, and event logistics.

About our application process:

Qualified candidates can expect to go through a 4 step interview process. The first interview will be a call to assess cultural fit and to make sure our goals are aligned.

If we think there is a good fit, you’ll have a call with one of our managers to learn more about your skills and attitudes toward teamwork. If it’s clear that you’d be a good addition to the team, we’ll ask you to complete a task for which you will be compensated.

If your task displays a high level of quality and care we will set up a final interview with our CEO.

We review applicants in two weeks batches, after review, this process can take up to three weeks.
