Overview

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, Automation QA Team Leader to lead the QA efforts at Bancor.

The successful candidate will learn every aspect of our different products and assure their quality. You should be someone who takes responsibility and pushes tasks to the finish line. At the same time you will join the engineering group leadership, and will be expected to push to better,  more efficient and agile development processes. There are many interfaces to work with.

You will report to the VP R&D and manage a team of 4 QA Engineers.

You should love bugs and people the same. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the manual testing and automation
  • Define quality standards and metrics
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics is reviewed, closed and agreed upon
  • Define processes for test plans and different phases of testing cycles
  • Ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking
  • Keep raising the bar and standards of all the quality processes with every project
  • Define Automation framework, architecture, methodology, tool selection

Requirements

  • Leader in nature
  • At least 4 years of experience testing web/mobile apps & server APIs – a must
  • Agile methodologies – a must
  • Good understanding of automation tools and practices (selenium etc.) – a must
  • Proven experience with QA methodology, testing processes and documentation standards
  • Proven strong technical skills; ability to dive into complex problems & find their root cause
  • Self and fast learner. Loves new technologies and challenges
  • Responsible. Someone who truly owns tasks. Independent.
  • Multi-tasking ability
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills (Hebrew & English)
  • Relevant Academic degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent – advantage
  • Blockchain knowledge – a huge advantage
