Illuvium is currently seeking a Senior Community Manager to build and nurture relationships within the DAO community across all current and future social media platforms: Discord, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, and the official website. The Community Advocate will ensure that Illuvium’s social media channels are responsive to, and informative for, our engaged community. The Community Advocate will enforce community guidelines to keep the Illuvium DAO a safe space for our diverse, global community. Final candidate must pass background check due to the highly secure and confidential nature of the work.

About Illuvium

Illuvium Labs is an independent game development studio based in Sydney, Australia. We develop blockchain based games for the Illuvium DAO. We have developed a strong culture of independence with our team, preferring candidates who can articulate their own vision and goals. We operate almost entirely remotely so each team member designs their own hours and work schedule. In the end all that matters is the delivered product. We hire based on people’s abilities to adapt and change quickly, valuing underlying core abilities above specific skill sets.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise as Communications internal to ensure key messaging is distributed
  • Responding to customer inquiries & comments on social platforms in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement customer service systems, standards, protocols, and responses
  • Lead community moderators and equip them with accurate/current information
  • Build relationships with the online community and recommend strategies to cultivate them
  • Manage DAO Governance Calendar and oversee the timely execution of governance activities
  • Monitor/provide feedback on engagement/conversation via social media channels to leadership
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Stay up-to-date on new Illuvium products and features, and with crypto/gaming/DeFi trends

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have direct experience within a gaming studio’s marketing department
  • Proven work experience as a community liaison, customer service rep, or moderator
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics
  • Excellent summarizing skills, verbal communication skills, and writing skills – formal and informal
  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
