We’re looking for a highly motivated utility player to come on board as a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to help drive engagement across our corporate social and digital channels among key audiences. The ideal candidate understands how to optimize content to drive organic interest and how to measure ROI across paid channels. This person is a storyteller and whiz with words, with a proven track record of turning complex ideas into compelling social and ad copy. In addition to managing Ripple’s social media channels, this role will be responsible for real-time social listening and analytics, bolstering this data to elevate impactful conversations and capitalize on key moments in time. Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, the right person is also eager to jump into projects across the website, paid advertising, email and reporting.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

Social 

  • Manage day-to-day activities and engagement across Ripple’s corporate channels
  • Develop a consistent voice, tone and personality across each individual social channel
  • Develop a long-term social media calendar for each of Ripple’s key audience groups and schedule content in advance, aligning closely with Ripple’s editorial calendar
  • Identify and build a follower and engagement growth plan driven by data
  • Work closely with our social listening agency to identify key moments to insert Ripple into the social conversation
  • Use social listening data to build action plans around rapid response and influencer activation, collaborating with comms and executive social lead
  • Partner with our events team to amplify Ripple’s presence and messaging at key events
  • Work with content marketing and marketing operations to develop paid social campaigns using the latest collateral

Website, Search and Display 

  • Partner with our design team to create compelling social cards, videos and imagery
  • Develop SEO strategy by creating keyword lists, updating web copy and monitoring organic search rankings
  • Help manage SEM and retargeting campaigns
  • Use Google Analytics to make recommendations for Ripple.com
  • Work closely with web team to improve website conversions

Email

  • Use Pardot reporting and A/B testing to create audience-specific emails
  • Develop nurture streams

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5+ years experience in social media management, community management and/or digital marketing at a b2b tech company
  • A passion for social media, SEO and digital advertising
  • A doer with a history of being both strategic and execution-oriented
  • Excel at messaging complex concepts in a digestible, compelling way
  • Skilled at identifying compelling story angles and bringing them to life in clear, innovative and effective ways
  • Basic understanding of Pardot, Marketo or any other marketing automation system
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with serious attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Proactive, energetic and relentless in the pursuit of moving the needle
  • Analytical and data-driven, you enjoy making decisions based on the data in front of you
