Position: Event Marketing Manager
Job Type: Independent Contractor (No insurance, PTO, & benefits; candidate will be responsible for any tax and insurance)
Location: Remote (United States)
Salary: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year to be paid in digital currency (USDT/USDC)

TRON is looking for an Event Marketing Manager passionate about the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry to join our growing and dynamic Marketing Team. We are looking for collaborative people who work well in teams and lead by example. This role will work cross-functionally with external vendors and external conference sponsorship vendors. You’re the right fit for this role if you are comfortable with figuring things out as you go, default to action, and adapt to additional responsibilities which may span across sponsorship and event planning, vendor management, and team building.
You Will:
- Organize conference afterparties, large web3.0 exhibitions, and other company events
- Implementing necessary marketing and social push for event projects
- Execute the logistics of company-sponsored events
- Creative event planning with external vendors and agencies
- Manage attendance outreach to get the target audiences
- Effectively manage internal and external partners to ensure event planning meets strict deadlines
- Own the event marketing budget, handle contract negotiation, vendor sourcing, & invoicing for events and sponsorships
Who You Are:
- Ideal candidates should possess 1-2 years of experience in corporate event planning and conference coordination
- Proven experience carrying out concurrent event marketing efforts, including event planning & reporting
- Must pay high attention to detail and great time management
- You are comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- You have hands-on experience managing large-scale initiatives with tight deadlines
- Experience with budget management and contract negotiation.
- Self-starter with business strategy and development skills that can take a new partner from the very first conversation all the way to a lifetime evergreen relationship
- Bilingual in Chinese Mandarin is a plus
- Interested in learning more about the Web 3.0 space
