About the role

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Finance Systems Manager to lead and support the development, implementation, and administration of our company’s financial systems. This critical role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or assist in the development, implementation, and administration of financial systems.
  • Research and stay current on financial record-keeping, reporting requirements, and relevant governance regulations.
  • Ensure financial systems adhere to these requirements and best practices.
  • Establish and document best practices for financial system utilization within the company.
  • Train and support staff on financial systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments and IT resources to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
  • Develop, document, test, and implement automated solutions to streamline financial operations.
  • Provide ongoing support to automate processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and segregation of duties to safeguard financial data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day systems issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of Netsuite experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial systems management or a related field.
  • Proven experience with leading or participating in financial systems implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with financial system software (e.g. Expensify, Pipefy, ) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
