About the job
We are looking for a Junior Credit Analyst to join the Credix team and help with our credit efforts. The right candidate has experience in private credit and investment banking. You understand the end-to-end process including but not limited to due diligence, structuring, and risk management.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of credit and structured finance experience, ideally asset-backed securities in emerging markets credit
- Educational background in engineering, hard sciences, and/or mathematics
- Proven track record of deal structuring with ownership of the financial model and a deep understanding of the legal documents
- Experience in analyzing the credit risk profile of loan portfolios
- Excel magician. Python knowledge is a plus
- Attention to detail and affinity with numbers
- Proficient English. Professional working proficiency in either Portuguese or Spanish is a big plus
Responsibilities
- Due Diligence – including credit analysis -, transaction structuring, and cash flow modeling
- Prepare investment decks and any other required documentation for investment committees
- Work with the Legal team on the transaction documents and provide continuous feedback on how to optimize the underwriting process
