Research Analyst

We are seeking a Research Analyst to join our team to help us stay at the forefront of all wider developments across web3. As a Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and providing insights on the blockchain ecosystem. Your primary focus will be on gathering data and conducting in-depth analysis across the broader web3 industry, and producing reports across our engineering teams that drives informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Research various blockchain related topics and synthesize findings into deep-dive thematic reports
  • Self initiative in Identifying prospective report topics
  • Run weekly learning sessions across our engineering team to report findings
  • Stay on top of key developments in cryptoEngage on social media platforms (incl. Twitter), knowledge sharing across wider parties or the Sei ecosystem, and participate in industry events in representing Sei

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 1+ year of prior experience conducting similar research across Web 3 or Crypto Venture Capital
  • Crypto-native – you know multiple protocols inside-out, are familiar with major themes and sectors, and have basic knowledge of 50-100 infrastructure and application layer protocols
  • A desire to develop subject matter expertise across multiple disciplines across Web 3 and insatiable curiosity to research new topics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate your analysis and insights concisely and with clarity
